The Wishbone Chair, CH24 or 'Y' Chair was designed by Hans J.Wegner in 1950. Manufactured by Carl Hansen & Son in Denmark the Wishbone Chair is every inch the Danish design classic.
The Wishbone or 'Y' Chair acquired its name due to the 'Y' shaped back and with its measured use of materials is a light, sculptural dining chair which offers good back support and a comfortable sitting position. This version has a beech frame, painted in a range of colours. The beech frame gives it a smooth finish so no wood grain can be seen.
