The Pia Chair was originally designed in 1959 by iconic Danish designer Poul Cadovius. Developed on a concept of 'less is more' with the focus on using the least possible material consumption whilst still creating incredible detail and a high level of comfort.
The Pia Chair encompasses the spirit of the fifties with the thin, conical-shaped solid wooden legs and light expression. Along with the moulded backrest and paper cordel seat, the Pia Chair is optimal in seating comfort. The paper cordel hand-woven seat takes two hours to complete, making it a time-consuming process that requires patience and high accuracy.
