Vernor Panton's Flowerpot VP7 Pendant Light from &Tradition takes its name from the 'Flower Power' movement of the 1960s. With its curvaceous shape and bold colour, the Flowerpot Pendant became a symbol of the movement which revolted against stiff old values and initiated a generation of peace, harmony and love.
Verner Panton and his Flowerpot Pendant Light are the embodiment of 1960s designs which were notable for being decidedly more exuberant than those that had come before. Despite being a disciple of Arne Jacobsen, Panton pioneered his own approach to Modernism. Like his other designs, the Flowerpot injects a pop of colour and playfulness to any interior.
